From Bellegarde sur Valserine station (TGV direct from Paris 2h35) then 1h15 drive or from St Gervais les bains le Fayet (TGV direct from Paris 4h35) then 25 minutes drive. We can then organize the transfer for you with our service provider.
There is also a connection with the TER train to Chamonix Mont-Blanc station.

Chamonix is well served, notably by the N205 and the Autoroute Blanche, the A40, linked to the European motorway network. From Chamonix, by car, you are : 2.5km from the Mont-Blanc Tunnel / 108km from Annecy / 89km from Geneva / 2h30 from Lyon.

Can disabled guests stay at the hotel?
Absolutely. Our hotel is happy to welcome all disabled guests. Two of our Prestige rooms are specially equipped for people with reduced mobility. In addition, all our staff are trained to offer an attentive welcome adapted to all types of disability.
Do I need to rent a car?
There's no need to rent a car. Our hotel is ideally located right in the center of Chamonix, allowing you to reach the main points of interest on foot, such as the Aiguille du Midi or the Montenvers train. In winter, a free shuttle bus serves the ski areas. For transfers within Chamonix, our reception team will be happy to assist you. If you're traveling to or from Geneva airport, we can arrange a private or shared transfer with our trusted partners.
Where can I park?
Our hotel has a private outdoor parking lot, available for €25 per day per vehicle. Charging stations for electric vehicles are also available. A recharging package is available at an additional cost of €20 for your entire stay.
Is it possible to rent bicycles?
The hotel does not have bicycles, but you can rent them in some sports stores near the hotel. Only during the summer season.
What are the arrival and departure times?
Our rooms are guaranteed from 3:00 pm and must be vacated by 11:00 am on the day of departure.
Can I extend my stay?
Yes, subject to availability. If your room is not reserved after your departure, or if you accept a change to another available room, we will be delighted to extend your stay.
Is it possible to access the internet in the hotel?
Free wifi is available throughout the hotel.
How are the rooms equipped?
Our rooms are equipped as follows: Flat-screen TV, Mini Bar, Safe, Slippers & bathrobes, Clarins welcome products, Bluetooth speaker, Coffee machine, tea set.
Are there different types of pillows in the room?
We offer hypoallergenic, feather, memory foam and synthetic pillows. Please specify your preferences when booking.
May I smoke?
Smoking and vaping are prohibited in rooms and on hotel premises.
How often are towels and bed linen changed?
As part of our eco-responsible approach, we change bed linen every other day. Towels placed in the bath or shower will be replaced automatically. If you would like a more frequent change or additional towels/bed linen, please let us know: we're here to help you.
How often are the rooms cleaned?
Rooms are cleaned daily between 9am and 5pm. A blanket service is offered in the evening between 7pm and 9pm.
Can I bring a pet?
Pets are welcome at the hotel (€25 per day). They may accompany you in your room or at the bar, but are not allowed in the restaurant area.
Are the rooms air-conditioned?
Some of our rooms are air-conditioned. If you would like to benefit from air conditioning, please request it when you make your reservation. Fans are also available on request to ensure your comfort.
Is the pool heated?
Our outdoor pool is heated all year round to 28°C.
Is the Spa accessible without a reservation?
Access to the spa is open to our customers without prior reservation. However, to ensure the best possible experience, we recommend that you book in advance, especially during busy periods.

Is the hotel ski-in ski-out?
Our hotel does not have direct access to the slopes ("ski-in/ski-out"), but they are just 3 minutes away by car. A free shuttle is available from the hotel to take you easily to the surrounding ski areas.
How do I rent skis?
The hotel is a partner of the Sanglard store in the center of town, giving you an exclusive 15% discount on equipment hire. Your skis will be delivered directly to the hotel and collected on the day of your departure. A private ski locker is provided for each room, in our ski room, to store your equipment in complete safety.
How do I book my ski lessons?
Simply email your request to info@hmbchamonix.com. Our concierge service will be happy to organize your lessons with the ESF.
Can you prepare my packages for me?
Yes, we can prepare your packages directly at the hotel reception. They must be paid for at the time of delivery and are neither exchangeable nor refundable.
Is there a laundry service?
Yes, we offer a laundry service at the hotel. Your laundry is cleaned within 24 hours and the corresponding charges are added directly to your room.
Are children allowed in the pool/spa?
Children are welcome in the pool under adult supervision. Access to the sauna and steam room, on the other hand, is reserved for those aged 16 and over.
